Once our depot is operational, how is a breast pump requested?

A: We will provide you with a Breast Pump Depot® Tablet which eliminates faxing, phone calls, voicemails, and emails.  With the BPD Tablet, you can submit your breast pump request from the patient's bedside.  You can also communicatei with the Breast Pump Depot in real time with your BPD Tablet via its secure instant messaging function.  The BPD Tablet is designed to sreamline the breast pump request process and reduce the level of involvement of your lactation team

If you like, your requests can be faxed to us with an accompanying face sheet including patient and insurance demographics.

Typically, we will authorize the breast pump within 30 minutes to two hours, depending on the payor. After receiving the authorization code from us, you may dispense the breast pump to your patient.
